2-Day Ruaha National Park Safari

Day 1 – Iringa to Ruaha • Afternoon Game Drive
The safari is designed to depart from Iringa at first light. Hills flatten into open savanna, baobabs stand like weather-worn giants, and the road feels like a promise. By noon you roll into Ruaha, carried on the cry of a fish-eagle. The park reads like an open novel—buffalo clouds of dust, elephant herds on slow parade, a lioness lounging while cubs tumble in the shade. Day 2 – Sunrise Game Drive • Return to Iringa
You’re on the track before dawn, the air sharp and cool. A kudu steps into rosy light, spiral horns catching the first sunbeam. Far off, a leopard melts into tall grass. Imapala leap between acacias, elephants cross the track, and a pride of lions’ blinks sleepily from the shade. By mid-morning the heat rises; you turn toward Iringa, the sounds of Ruaha—roars, hoofbeats, wings—echoing long after the savanna fades from view.
