Day 1 – From Dar es Salaam to Mikumi

Before the city wakes, you’re already on the road after your guide picks you up form the airport or your hotel in Dar es Salam. Drive heading to Mikumi, have a welcoming lunch enroute just before you arrive in Mikumi. The Dar es Salam to Mikumi drive is stunning as you observe the landscape shifting from bustling markets to the open, sunlit savanna. After some times, you’ll watch the horizon stretch endlessly, dotted with distant baobabs.

Have a lunch stopover ans just before your arrival in Mikumi, dressed in the perfect attire for the adventure ahead, proceed for a late afternoon Game Drive: Your first encounter with Tanzania’s wild — giraffes grazing on treetops, elephants crossing the savanna, and a lioness, drowsing in the shade with her cubs.

As the sky turns amber, you’ll arrive at your lodge, where you can unwind with the distant sound of lions calling.

Day 2 – Full Day Mikumi Adventure

At dawn, in cool, and when the savanna is still alive., enjoy your breakfast ans depart for a moment of fulfilling adventure as you encounter the full of promise and endless adventure here in Mikumi.

In your morning Game Drive, watch zebra herds dashing across the golden grass, buffaloes grazing warily, and baboons chattering in the treetops.

Enjoy a packed lunch in the bush, where nature surrounds you in all its wild beauty, proceed with your afternoon game drive as the sun dips lower, lions stir from their naps, elephants gather at waterholes, and the air becomes electric with the excitement of the wild.

Later, return to the lodge for dinner under the stars, with the deep, rumbling calls of the wild in the background.

Day 3 – Onward transfer to Ruaha

Today, you leave Mikumi behind and venture deeper into Tanzania’s heart. On your drive to Ruaha, the road grows quieter, and the landscape wilder.

Enjoy your delioious lunch before arriving in Ruaha and later as soon as you arrive, you immediately start your mind-blowing encounter into a land where nature is king. The bush here is rich, dense, and full of surprises. Eyes peeled for leopards, big cats, and herds of elephants as you head into the wild just before you proceed to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight.

Day 4 – Full Day in Ruaha

An early rise as the first light touches the savanna. Today is a full day in Ruaha – one of Tanzania’s most rugged and untamed parks.

Have breakfast and proceed to watch herds of elephants move through the riverbed, their trunks swinging in rhythm, and lions bask in the golden morning light, there is so much to explore here, so prepare and be on your best adventure mood to have the best fun.

Have a picnic lunch under the shade of a baobab tree, surrounded by the buzz of the bush, later venture in the deep bush, you’ll track leopards and kudu, with the occasional flash of a cheetah’s tail. Every moment is a snapshot of Africa’s untamed beauty.

Evening: Return to your lodge for dinner, reminiscing on the day’s encounters.

Day 5 – From Ruaha to Nyerere

Early morning, enjoy your final moments in Ruaha. A glimpse of a leopard slinking through the grass, a herd of impalas grazing nearby and as you have highlight moments Shared with fellow travellers, reminiscing about your adventures so far. Proceed for a transfer drive to Nyerere arriving in the evening where the wild beauty continues, and the river calls you to unwind.

Day 6 – Boat Safari on the Rufiji River

Today, the safari vehicle gives way to the boat. You’ll cruise along the Rufiji River, where the wildlife is just as abundant, but the landscape offers a different perspective.

Morning: Glide through the water as birds soar overhead, the sound of the river lapping against the boat and the distant splash of hippos.

Lunch: A picnic on the riverbank, surrounded by the sounds of the water and reeds swaying in the breeze.

Afternoon: Continue your exploration along the river. Watch as elephants drink from the shore, and crocodiles sunbathe on the riverbanks.

Day 7 – Walking Safari and Final Game Drive

Put your feet on the ground today as you explore Nyerere on foot, guided by an expert who will teach you to read animal tracks and identify plants.

Morning: A walking safari through the bush, experiencing Africa at eye level. The smells, sounds, and sights of the wild are more vivid when you’re immersed in it.

Lunch: Back at the lodge, before setting off again.

Afternoon Game Drive: Your last game drive through Nyerere. With the sun casting long shadows across the savanna, the landscape feels like a painting, and you’ll see one final round of wildlife before the journey ends.

Day 8 – Morning Game Drive and Return to Dar es Salaam

Rise early for your last game drive in Nyerere. You’ll watch as the golden light stretches across the plains, and the last glimpse of wildlife burns into your memory.

Breakfast: A hearty breakfast at the lodge before heading out.

Lunch: A final meal en route to Dar es Salaam, reflecting on the wild moments you’ve experienced.
